Les Sellers takes an active leadership role within the surveying team.
Holding a first class honours degree in building surveying, Les has spent
his whole career in the construction industry; the last 26 years specialising
in damp and timber. He is a Chartered Building Surveyor, a Fellow of the
Association of Building Engineers, a Chartered Environmentalist, and a certified
damp and timber infestation surveyor. Les is passionate about damp and in his
spare time, he is studying for a doctorate at the University of Salford.
Perhaps, unsurprisingly, his research is focused on damp! Les’s exceptional
leadership style and experience means that you can expect the highest level
of competence from our surveying team.

We know that our team members are only as good as their training, so we invest very heavily in their professional development, with ongoing training an essential part of their lives. Our surveyors are skilled, technically trained, and hold building surveying degrees, with continuous professional development this means that you always receive superior service and advice.
We employ skilled technicians, each with an individual trade and specialism. We systematically train all staff on health and safety practices, so they are kept up to date on the latest advice and training from HSE. This means that when working in the community, whether on a contract or for a customer, we will work in a considerate matter, respecting you and your property. Building works are disruptive, but by working with you to minimise inconvenience, we can help lessen their effects on you and your home.
How do we do this?
From the moment you contact us, we are there to help you. We will make an appointment to discuss your concerns and one of our team will carry out a survey. We do not blind you with science; instead, we tell you our findings simply and explain in detail what needs to be done. Our technicians carry out the work quickly, safely and effectively. For your peace of mind, our on-site operatives will keep you fully informed of what is happening at every stage of the process.
